Seminar participants will enjoy full access to the beautiful Dickinson College campus.
Dickinson College is a nationally recognized, selective, liberal arts college situated in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Established in 1783, Dickinson stands out as one of the nation’s oldest liberal arts institutions and offers a strikingly beautiful residential campus home to approximately 2,000 full-time students representing nearly all of the nation’s fifty states and over 20 foreign countries. For years, Dickinson has also been a particular leader among peer institutions in digital humanities, global sustainability, and civic engagement.
Carlisle is an attractive small town with colonial roots that is surrounded by natural beauty. The town also contains an array of Underground Railroad and Civil War era historical sites that will be featured in our programming. Students will be housed in air-conditioned rooms on our campus, which is walking distance from the town center. All student participants will have free access to the college’s gymnasium, state-of-the-art fitness center, and all athletic facilities, including the swimming pool, running tracks, and tennis courts. The College’s Health Center and security services are experienced in assisting younger groups.
