Share Your Research
Local researchers, genealogists, and academic scholars working on topics related to antebellum slave stampedes in the Missouri borderland should consider sharing their research through guest posts at our project blog. You can draft a short narrative post (750 to 1,000 words) and submit it to Matthew Pinsker, project director, at hdivided@dickinson.edu. Please use Chicago-style endnotes and submit your draft post as a Word document attachment to an email. If you have any images to share, please send them separately as PDFs or JPGs with proper captions and credits. Our team will review and respond to all submissions within two weeks.
Nominations for the Network to Freedom
We are especially interested in identifying historic sites, programs and facilities related to Eastern Missouri slave stampedes or the Underground Railroad in general that could be nominated for inclusion in the National Park Service Network to Freedom program.
