When is a society just?

The path to justice in the United States is one with a history of abhorrent failures and monumental achievements fought for with blood, sweat, and tears. The path has always concerned individuals with different walks of life that have fought for justice on the basis of race, ethnicity, economics, religion, and more. Past and present governments have often declared their laws as just, while citizens around the world call out their injustices. This website will explore the obligation to press for justice as well as analyze how and when the US has served justice or the opposite. Its contents model assignments for the Knowledge for Freedom Seminar hosted by Dickinson College and supported by the Teagle Foundation during Summer 2021.
