Historian Describes the Civil War Homefront (Part 2)

National Park Service historian Ted Alexander offered an informative presentation at the National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on September 14, 2010. In his discussion of the Civil War “homefront” in the Cumberland Valley, Alexander provides an overview of the impact that Confederate raids had on the civilian population in central Pennsylvania. Alexander is the Historian at Antietam National Battlefield and author of several books and more than 200 articles and reviews.
