2019 Dickinson & Slavery Report
Click on the link above to access the 35-page report on the Dickinson & Slavery initiative. The report summarizes the recent faculty and student research on the college’s ties to slavery and anti-slavery, provides snippets from community reaction collected on campus in 2018-19, and offers a set of recommendations for how to improve the commemoration of this important subject on our campus, in classrooms, and across the wider community.
To find out more about the release of this report, including endorsements by the President’s Commission on Inclusivity and the formation of an Ad Hoc Committee on Renaming, see the December 13, 2019 announcement at House Divided Project.
