DC Emancipation Bibliography

There is a good bibliography of primary and secondary sources related to emancipation in the District of Columbia posted by the H-DC Discussion Network. Matthew Gilmore posted the resource in 2007, which means that it does not include Kate Masur’s exceptional new study, An Example for All the Land: Emancipation and the Struggle over Equality in Washington, D.C. (University of North Carolina Press, 2010).  However, the bibliography does include helpful links to H-DC reviews and / or full-text (when available) through Google Books.
