is eligible to apply to the KFF seminar at Dickinson College?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Any rising high school senior, but we give preference to students from south central Pennsylvania<\/li>\n<li>We also give preference to applicants from low-income families or for those who would be first-generation college students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a the single-page form\u00a0and get a parental signature<\/li>\n<li>Write a brief personal essay\u00a0 (500 words or less)<\/li>\n<li>Have your school guidance office share a copy of your current transcript<\/li>\n<li>Have a teacher or school official send us a letter of recommendation<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>SUBMIT BY EMAIL TO:\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">HDIVIDED@DICKINSON.EDU\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEP 1:\u00a0 SINGLE-PAGE FORM <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">(APPLICANT)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download and print out the<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> <a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"http:\/\/housedivided.dickinson.edu\/sites\/teagle\/files\/2026\/01\/2026-Student-Form.pdf\">single page form<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li>The form asks for some basic contact information<\/li>\n<li>The form also asks you to explain if you qualify for preference as a low-income or first-generation college student.\u00a0 This information is kept confidential and self-verified only.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, the form requires signatures from BOTH the applicant and a parent or guardian<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>STEP 2:\u00a0 BRIEF ESSAY <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">(APPLICANT)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please answer the following question in 500 words or less on a separate sheet or sheets of paper:\u00a0 <strong><em>Describe what you are like as a student, and which academic skills you are most determined to improve in college.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Begin your essay with a brief descriptive title and your name.<\/li>\n<li>We do prefer to see these essays typed and single-spaced, but handwritten documents are acceptable.<\/li>\n<li>Here is a <a href=\"http:\/\/housedivided.dickinson.edu\/sites\/teagle\/files\/2021\/03\/sample-essay.pdf\">sample essay<\/a> to help inspire some ideas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>STEP 3:\u00a0 TRANSCRIPT <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">(SCHOOL GUIDANCE OFFICE)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please ask your high school guidance office send us a copy of your most recent transcript either via email (hdivided@dickinson.edu) with subject line:\u00a0 KFF Seminar 2026 or by regular mail:\u00a0 ATTN: Matthew Pinsker,\u00a0 Dickinson College, PO Box 1773, Carlisle, PA 17013.\u00a0 We can also provide a secure fax number upon request.<\/li>\n<li>If you have any difficulties obtaining a copy of your transcript before our MAY 31 deadline, please
