The site has three newspapers from the Civil War era \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/cdm.sos.mo.gov\/cdm4\/browse.php?CISOROOT=\/borderstar\" target=\"_blank\">Border Star Newspaper <\/a>(1858-1860), <a href=\"http:\/\/cdm.sos.mo.gov\/cdm4\/browse.php?CISOROOT=\/libertytrib\" target=\"_blank\">Liberty Tribune <\/a>(1846-1848, 1852-1867, 1869-1878, 1880, 1882, and 1883), and the <a href=\"http:\/\/cdm.sos.mo.gov\/cdm4\/browse.php?CISOROOT=\/christadvoc\" target=\"_blank\">St. Louis Christian Advocate <\/a>(1857 \u2013 1879). The site is easy to navigate and all of the newspapers are available for download as PDF files.
