A <a href=\"http:\/\/dlxs.richmond.edu\/d\/ddr\/\" target=\"_blank\">great resource <\/a>for southern papers is available from the University of Richmond\u2019s Digital Initiatives, which has over a thousand issues of the Richmond Daily Dispatch published between 1860-1865. One can learn more about Richmond during the Civil War from <a href=\"http:\/\/imls.richmond.edu\/d\/ddr\/cwrich.html\" target=\"_blank\">an essay <\/a>written by historian Robert C. Kenzer.
