Welcome to Dickinson! Students arrived on campus and moved into their home for the next two weeks, High Street dorm. After goodbyes had been said to parents and family, everybody met in the common area for introductions and a quick game of Two Truths and a Lie. Then, we headed to our first dinner together at the college’s cafeteria. After eating, the students finished the evening by hanging out and finishing up their readings for tomorrow’s class. It seems like the program is off to a great start!

Hello everybody and welcome to Carlisle, PA! Our names are Sarah, James, and Katelyn and we are excited to be your program mentors and help you with research and writing. We’re also here to show you the ropes on campus, so if you have any questions, feel free to check in and ask!

If you’re looking for some cool places on campus, our personal favorite spot is Denny Hall where you guys will be having your lectures. It’s a great building when you need somewhere quiet to write and study. If you’re lucky, you might even see some paranormal activity, since Denny is one of the most historic and haunted buildings on campus!

Another great thing to do on campus is relax on the red lawn chairs out on the Academic Quad! If you want to get some fresh air and watch the world pass by, sitting on the quad outside Old West is a great way to spend your time.
