Several historians have focused on Still&#8217;s work as an abolitionist, including Larry Gara&#8217;s  &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/dpubs.libraries.psu.edu\/DPubS?service=Repository&amp;version=1.0&amp;verb=Disseminate&amp;view=body&amp;content-type=pdf_1&amp;handle=psu.ph\/1141402846#\" target=\"_blank\">William Still and the Underground Railroad<\/a>&#8221; <em>Pennsylvania History<\/em> (1961) and Stephen G. Hall&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/dpubs.libraries.psu.edu\/DPubS?service=Repository&amp;version=1.0&amp;verb=Disseminate&amp;view=body&amp;content-type=pdf_1&amp;handle=psu.pmhb\/1204841782#\" target=\"_blank\">To Render the Private Public: William Still and the Selling of the Underground Rail Road<\/a>,&#8221; <em>Pennsylvania Magazine of History and Biography<\/em> (2003). Other important sources on the Underground Railroad include Robert Clemens Smedley&#8217;s  <a href=\"http:\/\/deila.dickinson.edu\/slaveryandabolition\/title\/0089.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>History of the Underground Railroad in Chester and the Neighboring Counties of Pennsylvania<\/em> <\/a>(1883), Wilbur Henry Siebert&#8217;s <em><a href=\"http:\/\/deila.dickinson.edu\/slaveryandabolition\/title\/0090.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Underground Railroad: From Slavery to Freedom<\/a><\/em> (1898), and David Blight&#8217;s <em>Passages to Freedom: The Underground Railroad in History and Memory<\/em> (2004).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Places to Visit<\/strong><br \/>\nA <a href=\"http:\/\/explorepahistory.com\/hmarker.php?markerId=303\" target=\"_blank\">historical marker<\/a> for William Still is located in Philadelphia at 244 South 12th Street. While in the city, you can visit Underground Railroad museums at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.belmontmansion.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Belmont Mansion<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/johnsonhouse.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Johnson House<\/a>. In addition, William Still is part of an exhibit at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aampmuseum.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">African American Museum<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hsp.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Historical Society of Pennsylvania<\/a>. Other interesting museums in Philadelphia\u00a0include the <a href=\"http:\/\/constitutioncenter.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Constitution Center<\/a>.
