		<description><![CDATA[Kudos to Mr. Burlingame and the Knox College Press for taking this unprecedented (as far as I know) step.  Mr. Burlingame&#039;s exhaustive footnoting is a boon to all researchers.  Douglas O. Wilson, noted Lincoln scholar at Knox College, is also to be warmly thanked.
      I have this site bookmarked.  I can&#039;t wait for the second volume, since it contains the presidential years, and I visit the site every couple of days or so to see if it has come online yet.
